Chinese porcelain famille verte skull cup and cover, kapala, of oval form on a triangular moulded pedestal stand surmounted at
each point with three male heads all between gilt stylised flames on a pale green ground, the cover decorated with a wide band of the bajixiang each within an oval frame of branches and leaves and beneath a band of ruyi-clouds and a lotus flower head scrolling band at the rim, surmounted by a moulded gilt flaming jewel finial.
5 7/8 inches, 14.9 cm high, 4 7/8 inches, 12.3 cm wide.

五彩首爵 清康熙 J. P. Morgan 先生舊藏
Chinese porcelain wucai, famille verte brush pot, bitong, painted on the exterior with four carp, one in blue enamels with green fins and tail, one in green enamels with blue fins and tail, a leaping carp in iron-red and a smaller carp in white enamel with green fins and tail, all amongst aquatic plants, weeds, grass and roe, the base unglazed with a small recessed white glazed centre.
4 ¼ inches, 10.8 cm diameter; 4 15/16 inches, 12.5 cm high.
Kangxi period, 1662-1722.

Pair of Chinese imperial porcelain bowls of almost conical form, each painted on the exterior in fencai, famille rose enamels with butterflies in flight amongst flowering daisy and camellia above grass, the interiors glazed white, the rims with traces of original gilding.
6 1/8 inches, 15.5 cm diameter.
The bases with six-character marks of Tongzhi in underglaze blue and of the period, 1862-1874.
