Description
The catalogue of Recent Acquisitions comprises of 49 pieces of Chinese and Japanese ceramics and works of art and accompanied our exhibition in 2002. Notable pieces include 14 from the collection of the Sir Joseph E. Hotung Family Trust which included a Dingyao dragon dish, a Junyao dish, a pair of Kangxi imperial blue-ground yellow dragon dishes, a pair of Yongzheng imperial celadon floral carved bowls, a Yongzheng imperial brown chrysanthemum dish, a pair of Yongzheng imperial lavender bowls, a tea-dust double gourd, a Qianlong imperial double gourd and other pieces including a Wanli imperial wucai vase with boys and a Yongzheng imperial Ru-type lobed double gourd.
