The catalogue of Recent Acquisitions comprises of 66 pieces of Chinese porcelain and works of art of the Ming and Qing dynasties and accompanied our exhibition in 2009. Notable pieces are a large pair of Kangxi bottle vases with qilins, an imperial Kangxi peachbloom tangluo xi from Edward T. Chow, an imperial Yongzheng lavender fish bowl, an imperial Yongzheng blue-ground fish bowl and cover, a large blue and white and underglaze copper-red lantern vase painted with the three star gods, an imperial Qianlong yellow-ground famille rose wall vase, an imperial Jiaqing ruby-ground benbaping from Fonthill House and 15 jades including a white, russet and grey mountain boulder.
