2016 Kangxi Underglaze Blue & Copper Red



The catalogue of Kangxi Underglaze Blue & Copper-Red comprises of 34 pieces of Kangxi porcelain and accompanied our exhibition in November 2016. Notable pieces are an imperial blue and white and underglaze copper-red bowl painted with a leaping carp, an early Kangxi brush pot, a Guanyin-form vase published by Beurdeley and Raindre, a garlic-mouth slender baluster vase from Richard Bennett and also included in the 1935 Royal Academy exhibition and an imperial bowl painted with copper-red dragon medallions.
