2023 Kangxi Biscuit and Pottery: A Private French Collection
Description
This group of 17th century and early Kangxi ceramic wares originate entirely from one collection formed between the early 1920’s and 1941.
The exhibition contains 40 charming examples of Chinese ceramics, glazed directly onto the biscuit bodies, all superior quality and special examples, some are rare models and designs. The catalogue commences with pieces that were used in everyday life in China and concludes with sculptural wares.
