Description
Chinese Canton enamel famille rose lobed teapot with upright handle, painted with four panels with a sleeping scholar in a window, with a sage and a lady crossing a wooden bridge; another scholar and a lady and another with two male figures and with a lady and another a lady seated beside a lake with her attendant, all on a yellow ground with famille rose flowers and leaves the flat shoulder similarly decorated with blue and white scrolling branch on the neck, repeated on the upright handle between yellow ground floral reserves.
