Description
Chinese famille verte biscuit porcelain standing figure of a boy holding a lingzhi branch above his left shoulder, wearing a green jacket tied at the waist with an aubergine belt, the head, hands and legs left in the biscuit, all on a raised double plinth rectangular stand.
5 ¾ inches, 14.6 cm high.
Early Kangxi, circa 1670.

- From an important French private collection formed between 1924 and 1941.
- Purchased from Compagnie de la Chine et Des Indes, 39 Avenue de Friedland, Paris, 14th November 1927, with trace of another dealer’s original label.
