Chinese porcelain famille verte, wucai baluster vase of tapered form, with a lady in a sedan chair amongst all her attendants with a warrior and scholar, meeting two kneeling soldiers, one holding a sword by the scabbard, the other holding a banner with a character, ling, ‘order’, with a castle wall in the distance, beneath the sun and clouds in a continuous landscape scene with pine, wutong and rockwork, the shoulder with bamboo reserves on a chrysanthemum flowerhead, leaf and green scroll ground, the gently flaring neck painted with a continuous mountain river landscape scene, with a fisherman beneath the sun, the base glazed white.

Chinese porcelain famille verte foliate blue enamel rim “Dutch Province” armorial dish, painted in the centre with a large gilt ground shield with a rampant lion beneath a crown with the arms of the Dutch city of Zutphen between open winged birds and gilt and iron-red peony branches, encircled by a twelve-petal moulded border with seated scholars and standing ladies dispersed between pine, daisy, lotus, chrysanthemum and prunus arrangements in vessels, the underside with two branches.

Chinese famille verte, sancai, biscuit porcelain joss-stick holder modelled in the form of Budai seated beside a child holding a necklace above his raised right knee, their faces and his protruding stomach covered in a clear glaze all on a rug form base, the underside unglazed.
