A Chinese-taste porcelain famille rose/verte bottle vase, ping, with pear shaped body and tall cylindrical neck, painted in bright enamels with a continuous scene of a yellow breasted bird perched on a branch of bamboo amongst fruiting and flowering branches, on which a grasshopper sits on one leaf, with three flying insects.
