Description
Two Chinese circular marble-topped hongmu stools with lipped ogee edge, openwork pierced waist, shoulder and legs, all with a gently lipped border and flared legs terminating in an upturned ruyi-head, the wood of a rich honey tone.
18 inches, 46cm high; 14 1/4 inches, 36 cm wide.
Early 19th century.
