A Chinese honey shadow agate snuff bottle, carved in low relief with a scholar seated in a naturalistic raft, with a bat in flight above his head, on a rich honey coloured naturally mottled ground, the reverse of lighter tone, with superbly hollowed interior, convex rim and short raised foot rim, agate stopper.

2 ¾ inches, 7 cm total height with stopper.

18^th- early 19^th century, 1760-1820.

Chinese yellow glass snuff bottle of imperial-style, moulded and carved with a standing caparisoned elephant with his head turned to the side, wearing a long and elaborate saddle cloth, the jardiniere form neck forming the howdah above a high-relief ruyi-scroll band.

Jiaqing/Daoguang, circa 1800-1860.

2 15/16 inches, 7.5 cm high without stopper, coral coloured stopper.

A Chinese pale celadon and russet jade carving of a recumbent horse with head turned back and left leg raised with detailed carving to the hooves and hair work to the tail and plaited mane.

2 1/2 inches, 6.35 cm.
