Guanyin seated cross-legged on rockwork, her hands and feet concealed beneath long flowing robes extending to a cowl revealing a ruyi-head tiara above detailed hairwork, covered in a cream glaze.

5 ½ inches, 14 cm high.

Late Ming dynasty, circa 1630.

  • Another, without a necklace, was included by Marchant in their exhibition of Blanc de Chine, 2006, no. 10, p. 24.
