A Chinese blanc de Chine water dropper in the form of a large crab on a leaf, with open pincers and upright legs, with naturalistic aperture and short spout and branch-form foot rim, covered overall in a white glaze.
14.5 cm long.
Late Ming dynasty, Fujian, Dehua province, circa 1640.
