A Chinese imperial porcelain yellow glazed deep saucer dish with gently flared rim, carved on the interior with a five-claw dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl amongst stylised clouds and flames, the underside with two similar dragons, covered overall in a rich and even egg-yolk colour glaze, the base with a six-character seal mark of Daoguang in underglaze blue and of the period, 1820-1851.
