A Chinese porcelain blue and white min yao saucer dish, thinly potted with steep sides, painted in the centre with a scholar riding a donkey beside his attendant carrying a branch, all in a river landscape scene with mountains in the distance, all within a single line at the border, the underside with bamboo sprays and rockwork, the base with a six character mark of Kangxi in underglaze blue in a double ring, and of the period, 1662-1722.
