A Chinese porcelain blue and white thinly potted deep bowl, wan, with gently flared rim, painted on the exterior with flowering branches of the four seasons, including peony, lotus, chrysanthemum and prunus, together with a bamboo branch, all between insects in flight, the interior with a jardinière of flowers beneath a band of flowers at the rim, the base with a seal mark within a double ring.

Kangxi, 1662-1722.

Excellent condition, one bubble burst on rim.
