A large pair of Chinese porcelain brightly enamelled famille rose chargers, each painted with a flowering branch of peony with two large blooms beneath an aubergine branch of flowering prunus in white, pink and ruby enamels, heightened in yellow and three aster flower heads, encircled by a wide border of chrysanthemum, peony, prunus and bamboo, with green, turquoise and blue enamel leaves, the cavetto with flower head reserves on green and pink diaper ground, the undersides with three iron red flower heads.
