A large set of three Chinese porcelain famille rose baluster vases and covers each painted with pairs of landscape panels between vases of flowers, above a lappet band at the foot and beneath elaborate lappets on the shoulder.
Qianlong, circa 1750
50 cm, 19 7/8 inches high including covers.

Condition: vases all perfect,  covers restored

  • Formerly in an English private collection.
  • Formerly in the collection of H.R. Hancock.
  • Exhibited at BADA Art Treasures Exhibition, 1932 at Messers. Christie, Manson and Wood, 12th October-5th November, catalogue no. 1053, pp. 135-7.
