五彩
五彩瓷最早见于嘉靖年间，他是明朝第十二位皇帝，任期位1521年至1567年。同多数的中国瓷器一样，五彩瓷的生产中心是中国的瓷器之都景德镇。
与更早的斗彩瓷一脉相承，五彩顾名思义便是“五种颜色”，实际上在一件器物上的彩料种类或有出入，或许“多彩”是更准确的描述。
无论是一件五彩瓶还是其他器型的五彩瓷，传统的烧制过程是首先以1,100摄氏度左右烧制青花绘制的轮廓线，然后上好釉上红、蓝、紫、黄、绿彩后再次入窑以相对低温烧制，温度控制再850到900摄氏度之间。
由于纹饰和技术的发展，五彩瓷的巅峰时期是清代康熙朝，康熙五彩以精妙的工艺和丰富的纹饰闻名，常见纹饰包括龙、凤、花、木、鱼等。后期的五彩瓷应用了描金和墨彩勾勒轮廓，使画面更加栩栩如生。
