Chinese porcelain blue and white large beaker vase, of slender gu form, with flared rim and foot, painted with a young scholar meeting a senior official with his two attendants in a fenced scene beside a screen painted with a landscape, the entrance with a large stack of books on a table, all in a continuous landscape scene with bamboo, palm trees, rockwork, plantain and 'classic' v-shaped grass, beneath the moon with the wall of a building in the distance beneath clouds, all between anhua bands of triangular diaper, the unglazed base revealing the biscuit body.

A Chinese porcelain imperial blue and white deep bowl of yu form, on a tall footrim painted on the exterior with a dense continuous lotus pond, with leaves, flowers, buds and arrowheads rising from the water, the clever painting in different shades of blue, the foot with ruyi-head scrolls, the interior similarly painted with lotus flowers and leaves amongst crested waves encircling a blue ground crested wave medallion, all beneath underglaze blue double lines at the rim.

A large Chinese porcelain blue and white ovoid jar of kraak type, painted on the body with a wide band of a continuous scene with two pheasants, one in flight swooping down between two flowering plum trees, the other standing on light blue-washed rockwork, amongst flowering peony, prunus branches and wutong beneath cloud sprays, all between two classic kraak borders of lappets and fruiting reserves, dispersed between ruyi heads on a blue-washed keyfret ground, the neck with a continuous scrolling band, the cover with three fruiting branches, similarly painted to the shoulder, the base unglazed revealing the biscuit body.
