Japanese porcelain celadon lavender glazed ‘penguin’ vase of baluster form with double-pinched rim and short splayed foot, covered overall on the underside and interior with an even celadon lavender Ru-type glaze, the gently everted and pinched rim with brown edge, all on a brown foot rim revealing the body.
9 3/8 inches, 23.8 cm high.
