Japanese porcelain large celadon lavender glazed flower-shaped shallow dish with six large petals gently everted at the rim, with slightly concave well, covered overall and on the base with an even celadon lavender Ru-type glaze thinning at the rim, the flat foot rim brown, the base with a spur mark.

Wood box, described as ‘large celadon flower-shaped dish’, signed and with artist’s seal, Shinobu, on the interior of the cover and the orange cloth.
