Description
Chinese porcelain blue and white baluster vase, guanyin zun, painted with Daoist immortals; Liu Hai and Zhong Liquan on rockwork, Li Tieguai with He, the immortal of Harmony, the reverse with four characters bai fu cheng xiang, ‘hundreds of blessings, longevity and happiness’, alongside thirty fu characters.
Kangxi, 1662-1722

Chinese porcelain blue and white circular seal paste box and cover, he, the cover painted with Chang’E, the Moon Goddess, presenting an osmanthus branch to scholars visiting her in the Moon Palace whilst standing on clouds, Chang’E between two lady attendants holding fans and another with a banner, all on a terrace scene beneath overhanging branches, the male scholars on a blue washed stippled ground, the interior of the cover with Li Bai standing beside his attendant holding a wine jar, the box base with a continuous ‘master of the rocks’ river landscape scene with fishermen in a boat and a viewing pavilion, the interior of the base with Liu Hai standing beside his three-legged toad, the underside with a two character mark Qing wan, ‘pure plaything’, within a double ring.

Chinese imperial porcelain blue and white deep palace bowl evenly potted with gently flared rim, the exterior with five further flowervheads on a scrolling branch, amongst arrow-head leaves, scrolls and foliage all above a band of stylized lotus petals, the interior painted in the well with a lotus flowerhead, amongst arrow-head leaves, scrolling branches and foliage.
7 ½ inches, 19.1cm diameter.
The base with a six-character mark of Kangxi within a double rings in underglaze blue and of the period, 1662-1722.
