Marchant have been producing catalogues since 1980. The first catalogue was titled “Chinese Blue and White Wan Li to K’ang Hsi”. We have produced one catalogue almost every year until 2004 where we started a second production in November, comprising of a private collection or specially curated exhibition of pieces from a particular period, such as 2009, “Ming Porcelain”. This exhibition celebrated the reconstruction of the entire building at 120 Kensington Church Street. 

Marchant have had jade exhibitions every five years since 1995, to celebrate special anniversaries. We have also held exhibitions of private collections including those of Rolf Heiniger, “Qing Imperial Wares“, 2000, “The Drs. A. M. Sengers Collection of Ming Blue and White Porcelain“, 2001, “The Bertil Högström Collection of Kangxi Blue and White“, 2011, “The Dr. Lowell Young Collection of late Ming and Qing Blue and White“, 2012.

Specifically curated exhibitions in recent years have included “Kangxi Underglaze Blue & Copper Red“, 2016, “Kangxi Famille Verte“, 2017 and “Chinese Ceramics Han to Song“, 2018. To purchase one of our catalogues from previous exhibitions, please click on one of the links below.
