Chinese imperial porcelain saucer dish painted in the centre with a medallion of five bats, wufu, in iron-red within double line, encircled by a border of twelve bats in flight within a double line in underglaze blue, the underside with eight further open-winged bats in iron-red between double lines.

5 5/8 inches, 14.3 cm diameter.

Six-character sealmark of Daoguang in underglaze blue and of the period, 1821-1850.

A Chinese bronze censer of bombé form with gently flared and flattened rim, raised on a slightly splayed tall foot, all between two high relief lion heads and densely curled mane handles, the exterior rim and base with an untouched original surface. The underside incised with an archaic style six-character mark Daming Li Daguan Zhi, Great Ming made by Li Daguan.

6 ¾ inches, 17.3 cm handle to handle; 5 ½ inches, 14.1 cm diameter; 3 ½ inches, 9 cm high.

Chinese imperial porcelain yellow ground saucer dish incised in the centre and painted with a green and aubergine five-clawed dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl amongst stylised flames, within a double aubergine ring, the underside decorated with grapes and leaves also on a yellow ground extending to the base.

5 1/4 inches, 13.3 cm diameter.

The base with a six-character mark of Qianlong within a double ring and of the period, 1736-1795.
