    Chinese yellow glass snuff bottle of imperial-style, moulded and carved with a standing caparisoned elephant with his head turned to the side, wearing a long and elaborate saddle cloth, the jardiniere form neck forming the howdah above a high-relief* ruyi*-scroll band.

    Jade snuff bottle of flattened, rounded, rectangular form, carved on one side in low relief with branches of blossoming prunus and buds issuing from pierced rockwork, beside a four-character relief inscription, jing guan shang wan, ‘Peacefully observing and enjoying’, with cylindrical neck and oval foot rim, the stone pure white.
