Provenance & Additional Information
- Formerly in a European collection.
- It is probable that this album contains one of the last known paintings of the factories at Canton before they were destroyed by Fire on the evening of the 15th December 1856. It is remarkable to find a complete album of this quality, perhaps a special order for a European nobleman.
