Pair of Chinese imperial porcelain large moulded celadon-glazed bowls, wan, of deep form with upright sides and straight footrims, each moulded on the exterior with six peony blooms on their characteristic leafy branches beneath an archaic scrolling band at the rim and above a keyfret band at the foot, the interior incised overall with a central peony flowerhead encircled by six further blooms on a continuous scrolling branch with leaves beneath a keyfret band at the rim, the rims glazed white, covered overall in a luminous even pale celadon glaze.

Chinese imperial porcelain lemon-yellow ground underglaze blue decorated deep stem bowl, gao zu bei, with gently flared lipped rim and ribbed splayed foot, painted on the exterior with three fruiting branches of peach, pomegranate and finger citron, sanduo, all above lingzhi dispersed between panels of flowering camellia branches each with a bud above lingzhi, the splayed foot with crested waves. The well of the interior with a fruiting peach branch above lingzhi within two underglaze blue lines beneath a band of crested and swirling waves and prunus flowerheads all on a lemon-yellow ground.

A very fine and rare pair of Chinese imperial porcelain blue and white moonflasks, bian hu, each with ruyi-head terminal handles, flared rim and everted foot, painted on each side with peach-shaped relief panels of five large fruiting peaches on a singular leafy branch between a pair of bats in flight encircled by scrolling branches of lotus and camellia within underglaze blue double lines, the flat sides with a continuous scrolling branch of fruiting lingzhi between pairs of double lines, the neck painted with a band of lotus beneath* ruyi*-heads and a floral band with scrolling leafy branches at the rim, the foot with a continuous band of leaves and branches.

A Chinese porcelain blue and white ewer in the form of a frog, the body moulded and the skin stippled on a blue washed ground with prunus flower-heads, the head of the frog with bulbous eyes and cylindrical mouth forming the spout, the back with an open aperture and gently flaring rim, between the upright loop handle decorated with flower heads and leaves, the flat base unglazed.

Chinese porcelain celadon ground, underglaze blue and white, and white slip vase, meiping, decorated with The Three Star Gods, Fu Lu Shou, amongst their attendants at various tasks, with a large pine tree, deer, cranes and rock work, the base unglazed with a central recess glazed white.

Chinese imperial porcelain blue and white deep palace bowl evenly potted with gently flared rim, the exterior with five further flowervheads on a scrolling branch, amongst arrow-head leaves, scrolls and foliage all above a band of stylized lotus petals, the interior painted in the well with a lotus flowerhead, amongst arrow-head leaves, scrolling branches and foliage.

A Chinese porcelain blue and white imperial bowl, wan, painted with two five-clawed dragons divided by a large branch of lingzhi fungus supporting a ruyi-head shaped shou and fu characters, amongst stylised flames and clouds and above a band of overlapping petals all between double rings, painted in the well of the interior with a similar dragon medallion.

Chinese Blanc de Chine figure of Guandi seated on a throne and looking to the left, his right hand holding up his belt, while his left hand rests on his knee, his long flowing robes incised with a central dragon, uncovered at the shoulder, knee and chest to reveal detailed armour, his hair tied with a cap and a headdress of the rising sun above ruyi-clouds, covered overall in a rich and even cream glaze.

Chinese Blanc de Chine figure of Guanyin seated upon a Buddhist lion, with her right hand raised, her left hand holding a scroll, wearing a cowl revealing a lingzhi tiara, her robes extending over the sides of the Buddhist lion, whose head is turned to the left with elaborate curled hairwork, open mouth, stippled nose and cheeks and bushy eyebrows, his saddlecloth incised with branches of flowers amongst leaves, standing four-square on a naturalistic rockwork base, covered overall in an even creamy glaze.

Chinese Blanc de Chine “Governor Duff” group, modelled as a family in Western clothing, seated either side of a small table with a food dish, in front of a Cross of Lorraine, the family formally arranged, with a pet dog and monkey seated either side of a potted plant, the standing boy and girl holding a fan and ornament while the parents each hold a cup, all on a raised rockwork base.

Chinese Blanc de Chine vase of archaic gu form, the central bulge incised with lotus flowerheads on a single continuous scrolling branch with stylised leaves, between single ribs, covered in a rich and even cream glaze extending to the interior and recessed base.

Chinese Blanc de Chine incense burner with rounded side and gently flared flattened rim, with two high-relief Buddhist lion mask handles with an elaborate mane of curls, all on a slightly splayed foot and lipped footrim, covered overall in an even pale cream glaze, the footrim unglazed, the well of the interior with three spur marks from the firing.
